Picture of Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is a cosmetic dentistry procedure in which a tooth-colored resin is applied to the teeth to change their appearance. Bonding may be used to repair a damaged, cracked, or chipped tooth. The procedure is also used to change the appearance of the smile by closing gaps in teeth or altering the shape of teeth. If cavities occur in parts of teeth that are visible, bonding material may be used in lieu of silver amalgam fillings.
